Tilth

Getting ready for SFI26, now or your September window? Plan it in Tilth, free during the beta.

The farm office, in your pocket.

Mapping, spray and fertiliser records, stewardship and payments, jobs, livestock and machinery, all in one place. Built by a working farmer, for real days in the field and the office. And your data stays yours.

A real field on our farm in Essex. The first field Tilth ever mapped.

Your data is yours. Full stop.

The whole point of Tilth. An independent alternative to the big farm software names, built on one promise.

Never sold

Your records are never sold, shared, or used to sell you seed, sprays or anything else. There is no one else in the room.

Yours to take

Download everything, any time, in ordinary files you can open anywhere. No lock-in, no ransom for your own records.

Yours to leave

Close your farm whenever you like and it is gone. You do not have to ask, and you do not have to explain.

Everything the paperwork needs, in one place

Fields and mapping

Draw or import your boundaries, see them on satellite, and check crop health from space. Works on a phone in the field.

Spray and fertiliser records

Quick to log, ready for an inspection, and they take what you use out of the chemical store as you go.

Stewardship and payments

Import your Countryside Stewardship or SFI agreement, draw the options on the map, and see what each field pays.

Jobs and the team

Plan work, hand it to whoever is doing it, and it turns into a record when it is done. Everyone sees only their farm.

Livestock and machinery

Mobs and movements, medicines and weights, daily checks, faults and services, all in the same place.

Nutrients and compliance

NVZ checks, nutrient planning and the paperwork an inspection asks for, worked out for you and kept in order.

Priced like a farm, not a software company

Farmers work to the cost of production. You weigh what a thing is really worth before you pay for it, and so do I. Tilth is priced for what it is worth to your farm, not for the most I can get out of you.

Free during the beta. After that, a smallholding up to 50 hectares stays free for two people, and a whole farm of any size is £200 a year, or £25 a month. Stop paying whenever you like and your data stays yours to export. Nobody is ever held hostage.

Running more than one farm business, as estates and contractors do? Each further business on your account is £100 a year, so you can work your price out in your head before you talk to anybody.

Built by a farmer, not a software house

Tilth is built by a working arable farmer in Essex, for a real farm first. It has to work on a phone at the field gate and on a laptop in the office, because that is where farm records actually get made. No jargon, no clutter, and no features nobody asked for. If it does not earn its place on a busy day, it does not belong in here.

The name says it: tilth is soil in good, workable order, the state every arable farmer is after. It is what I am after for your records too.

Join the beta

Tilth is in open beta while I get it right with real farms. Tell me a little about yours and a link to get started comes by email, usually straight away. It is free while the beta runs, and nothing is ever charged without plenty of warning first.

The founders price of £150 a year for life was for the first twenty farms, and those places are taken. Joining now is free while the beta runs, and the ordinary price after it.

No account is made now. I use these details to get in touch about the beta and for nothing else. They are never sold and never shared. How we handle your details.
