Tilth

The price, in the open

Priced like a farm, not a software company.

One price with everything in it. No quote to ask for, no charging by the hectare, no bolt-on module fees, and no salesman between you and the figure.

Farmers work to the cost of production. You weigh what a thing is really worth before you pay for it, and so does this. Tilth is priced for what it is worth to your farm, not for the most it can get out of you.

It is free while the beta runs, and nothing is ever charged without plenty of warning first. The founders price of £150 a year for life was for the first twenty farms and those places are taken; joining now is free until the beta ends and the ordinary price after it.

What the one price covers

All of it. There is no starter tier with the useful half taken out, and nothing on this list is sold separately.

  • Every hectare you farm. Nothing here is priced by the acre.
  • Everybody on the farm. Staff, family, your agronomist, your contractor.
  • Field mapping, boundary import by SBI, and satellite crop health.
  • Variable rate maps, and the spreader and ISOBUS files they come out as.
  • Spray, fertiliser and every other field record, ready for an assessment.
  • SFI and Countryside Stewardship, with agreement import and what each field pays.
  • NVZ checks and nutrient planning from your own records.
  • Livestock, machinery, the chemical store, grain contracts and gross margins.
  • Working offline in the field, and installing to a phone home screen.
  • Export of everything you have put in, whenever you want it.

Stop paying and you keep your data

If a subscription lapses the farm goes read only. Everything already recorded stays there to read, and the export still works, forever. It is never rate limited, never degraded and never held back to make anybody pay. Limiting what you can put in is fair. Limiting what you can take out is not.

Questions people ask

Is there a setup fee, or a training fee?
No. The price on this page is the price.
Does it cost more as the farm grows?
No. £200 a year is a whole farm of any size. The only thing that ever adds to the bill is a second farm business on the same account, at £100 a year, which is for estates and contractors running genuinely separate businesses.
What happens if I stop paying?
The farm goes read only. Everything you have recorded stays there to read, and the export keeps working, for good. Nothing is deleted and nothing is held back to make you pay. That is the one rule this whole thing is built on.
Is my data used for anything else?
No. It is never sold, never shared, and never used to sell you inputs. Tilth is not owned by anybody who has something to sell you.
Is VAT on top?
Not yet. Tilth is under the VAT registration threshold, so no VAT is charged. When it has to register, the prices here will say so.
What about an agronomist or a group of farms?
That is a conversation rather than a price on a page. Get in touch and we can work it out between us.

Try it on your own farm first

The beta is free while it lasts, and nothing on this page is asked for until it ends.
